a little bit 18th century, a little bit 24th century
I have occasionally looked at old product labels and lamented the fact that today's labels are boring and tacky in comparison. But this weekend I found this:
And the soda was delicious too. The company, Boots Beverages, is based in Texas. I bought this one at Atwood's, a regional chain.
Sometimes I think smaller companies either are more creative (or perhaps, have fewer darns to give about 'offending' people in some obscure way) than the big nationals.
I think these small soda companies probably have no problem selling everything they produce and could sell more if they chose to expand their businesses.
